In order to build a high quality Human Resources, the Company establishes various policies related to assurance in fulfilling all rights and welfare of its employees. Such policies, among others are the assurance of gender equality and free from discrimination on ethnicity, religion, race in terms of recruitment phase and salary rate adjustment based on the designated indicators, competencies, and employees’ dedication as well as providing health insurance to all employees with adjusted nominal. The Company also provides loans with 0% interest rate for the employees who are forced to pay expenses which exceed the insurance limit due certain illness or disaster.

The Company also ensures the workers’ rights to establish labor union which is involved in decision-making by referring to Law No. 21/2000 concerning Labor Union. The Company’s management routinely conducts two-way dialogue with the related Labor Union concerning the Company’s policies.

Throughout 2016, the Company recorded insignificant employee turnover and work accident level. The manifestation of the Company’s concern on the work safety has been proven by the award received by business unit from Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration on ero accident program.

The Company has committed to provide protection to all employees which is manifested through HSE (Health Safety Environment) program which covers:

  • Development of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) which has been realized in 9 business units.
  • Implementation phase of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) which has been realized in 5 business units.
  • Monitoring phase of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) which has been realized in 5 business units.
  • Development of Occupational Health and Safety in 5 business units.Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management System in 2 business units.
  • Health Talk program which is a manifestation of socialization to health maintenance for all employees of the Company

Currently the Company has two business units which obtained Certificate Zero Accident from the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, namely Sidoarjo Feedmill and Hatchery & Breeding in Lamongan, East Java.

With regard to the Decree of East Java Governor No. 566/633/108.5/2017 dated February 21, 2017, the Company earned Work Safety Program to reach 661,282 man hours without a loss time injury effective since November 1, 2008 until October 31, 2016 for Sidoarjo Feedmill. Lamongan Breeding and Hatchery also obtained Work Safety Program to reach 1,784,265 man hours without a loss time injury effective since January 1, 2010 until October 31, 2016 according to the Decree of East Java Governor No. 566/723/108.5/2017 dated February 21, 2017.

Meanwhile, the other business units are still preparing the implementation toward zero accident.
